I was born in Florence and have lived here my whole life.
I am an authorized cycling guide, and I have been guiding hundreds of tourists through the beauties and secrets of Florence since 2013. I know the best ice-cream parlours and typical food kiosks in the city. Thanks to my experience and knowledge you can avoid wandering around the city and make the most of your time on holiday in Florence.
What we do
We'll meet in Florence, where I'll take the bikes and the rest of the equipment.
After a gentle setting of the bikes, we will depart along the bike path on the banks of the Arno, heading towards the city centre.
We will pass by all the most important monuments, including Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza Signoria, the Duomo, Piazza Santa Croce, the Porcellino, via Calzaiuoli, San Lorenzo.
We'll take the time to take pictures and have an ice cream in one of the best ice cream shops in town.
After a refreshing break by means of a gentle climb we will arrive at Piazzale Michelangelo, to enjoy the most beautiful view of the city.
With a short extra 5 minute climb from here we can get to San Miniato a Monte for a unique view and without crowds.
Afterwards we will arrive at Forte Belvedere, to discover the original walls and gates of the city.
Then we'll finally be back in the heart of Florence with a suggestive sunset crossing over Ponte Vecchio.
The route is easy and accessible to everyone, from 2 to 80 years old.
I can provide child seats, carts for children up to 6-7 years old, and pedal-assisted bicycles, for a completely relaxing experience.
